Ordinary Passport
Selected passportStay: Schengen visa required before travel; up to 90 days in any 180-day period, subject to the issued visa
Conditions: A Thai ordinary-passport holder must obtain a short-stay Schengen visa before tourism travel to the Netherlands. Applications by residents of Thailand follow the Netherlands Worldwide tourism checklist and VFS process. The common ceiling is 90 days in any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen area, so time spent in every other participating state reduces the remaining Dutch allowance. The passport must meet the published document-validity requirements and the visa sticker may authorise fewer days than the ceiling. Work, residence and longer stays require separate permission, and border authorities make the final admission decision.
