Privacy Policy

You may choose to enter trip names, dates, destinations, itinerary events, saved places, passport profile settings, visa document details, home airport, and travel preferences. On the current web experience, this planning data is stored locally in your browser unless you sign in or a feature clearly says otherwise. Signed-in account data may be synchronized to Bilig's Windows account database.

When you sign in with Apple or Google, Bilig stores the account UUID, optional provider-supplied display name/email in the authentication service, and a minimized login history containing time, platform, provider, locale and app version. The lifecycle ledger does not store IP addresses, user agents, raw OAuth tokens, provider subject identifiers, passport numbers or identity-document images.

We may process technical data such as IP address, device and browser information, app or web version, request logs, diagnostics, analytics events, crash or error information, and approximate location signals when you allow location-based features.

Optional analytics and advertising processing relies on your separate category choice where consent is required. Refusing or withdrawing that consent does not block Bilig's core content and planning features.

We use your local profile and trip data to personalize discovery, route planning, document reminders, and trip previews on your device.

We use operational and analytics data to maintain reliability, investigate issues, improve search and map behavior, and understand product usage.

We use sign-in and last-active timestamps to secure accounts and measure account retention. We send product or travel-planning email only after a separate optional marketing opt-in.

We use destination, passport, and visa-related interactions to improve content quality and product decisions, but not to provide official immigration or legal advice.

Bilig uses infrastructure, hosting, analytics, monitoring, and mapping providers where needed to operate the product. Map and location features may rely on Apple Maps, Google Maps links, MapKit, geocoding, or similar providers depending on the feature you use.

The public site is self-hosted on Bilig's Windows infrastructure and delivered through Cloudflare. If you opt into optional categories, Google Analytics and Google AdSense may receive online identifiers, device/request information and usage or advertising events. Apple MapKit is loaded when you explicitly use an interactive map feature. Each provider's processing and international-transfer terms also apply.

Google explains how it uses cookies and advertising data in its advertising technologies notice. Visitors can manage Google-level ad personalization through Google Ads Settingsin addition to Bilig's own privacy controls.

Providers may process data outside your country. Where GDPR Chapter V or Turkish KVKK Article 9 applies, Bilig uses the applicable adequacy, contractual or other lawful safeguards available for that transfer.

Operational logs are retained only for the period necessary for security, reliability and legal duties. Local planning data stays until you remove it. Server-backed account data remains until account deletion or the applicable retention schedule. The Bilig consent receipt expires after 180 days, after which Bilig asks again; provider-side retention can differ as described in the Cookie Policy.

Passport, visa, and entry information shown in Bilig is provided for planning support only. It is not an official government source and may be incomplete, delayed, modeled, or limited to Bilig's current dataset coverage.

You must verify visa, passport, transit, residency, health, and entry requirements with official embassy, consulate, airline, or immigration sources before travel.

Web demo profile and trip data remains in your browser until you edit it or clear site storage.

You can edit or remove profile, visa, passport, and trip information inside Bilig. You can also clear browser storage or delete the app to remove data stored locally on that device.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing, and complain to a competent data protection authority. Turkish visitors can also review the KVKK Notice.
