Ordinary Passport
Selected passportStay: Online tourism visa must be approved before travel; approved stay may be up to 90 days
Conditions: A Thai ordinary-passport holder must apply online and receive a Bhutan visa before travelling. Bhutan's published arrival facility for Thai nationals is limited to diplomatic or government-official passports and therefore does not cover an ordinary tourism passport. The online application requires passport and travel details, payment of the visa fee and the applicable Sustainable Development Fee, and is normally reviewed within five working days. The approved visa and itinerary determine the authorised stay; the tourism visa may cover a visit of up to 90 days, and possession of approval remains subject to entry examination.
