Ordinary Passport
Selected passportStay: Bilateral visa-free visit up to 14 days when entering through an international airport only
Conditions: Thai ordinary-passport holders may use the bilateral visa exemption for a visit to Myanmar of up to 14 days only when entering through an international airport. The published airport limitation is material: this rule must not be projected onto a land-border or seaport journey, for which the traveller must verify and obtain the applicable permission. The exemption covers a short visit and does not authorise employment or residence. A valid ordinary passport and compliance with Myanmar's admission, security and onward-travel requirements remain necessary, and any longer stay requires separate immigration authority.
