Ordinary Passport
Selected passportStay: Schengen visa required before travel; maximum 90 days in any 180-day period across the whole area
Conditions: A mainland People's Republic of China ordinary-passport holder must obtain a Schengen visa before tourism travel to Spain. Spain's consular guidance for China identifies People's Republic of China citizens as visa-required and applies the common short-stay maximum of 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. That allowance is shared across every Schengen state and does not restart on entry into Spain. The application must be lodged with the competent state based on the sole or main destination, while the sticker may grant fewer days or entries than the general maximum. A visa does not authorise work or create an automatic right of border admission.
