Ordinary Passport
Selected passportStay: Valid Mainland Travel Permit (Home Return Permit) required; HKSAR passport alone is not the mainland entry document
Conditions: A Hong Kong SAR passport is not the document used by its holder to enter or leave the Chinese mainland. A Chinese citizen who is a Hong Kong resident must travel with a valid Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, commonly called the Home Return Permit. The HKSAR passport may still be needed for onward international travel.
