Conditions: A full British citizen passport holder requires a visa for Jordan but may buy a single-entry visit visa on arrival at a Jordanian airport or the Sheikh Hussein/North Border crossing; the King Hussein/Allenby Bridge requires a visa obtained beforehand. The passport must expire at least 6 months after arrival. Jordan currently charges 40 JOD for the single-entry visa and grants arriving non-work visitors temporary residence for 3 months at the border. A Jordan Pass can include the visa fee for a qualifying tourism stay of at least 3 nights, and longer or multiple-entry travel requires the appropriate permission. The entry stamp controls the stay actually authorised.
