Selected passportStay: Free single-entry tourist visa on arrival at Beirut airport: one month from entry; any extension requires separate approval
Conditions: A full British citizen passport holder can normally obtain a free single-entry tourist or family-visit visa on arrival at Beirut airport. The arrival visa authorises one month from the date of entry and may be extendable at Lebanese General Security offices for up to three months, but an extension is a separate in-country decision and is not part of the initial allowance. The passport should be valid for at least 3 months from entry. A passport containing an Israeli stamp may lead to refusal even when a Lebanese visa is held, and travellers must follow any shorter dates or conditions recorded by immigration.
