Ordinary Passport
Selected passportStay: Visa-free Slovakia and Schengen tourism up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the whole area
Conditions: A full British citizen ordinary-passport holder may visit Slovakia without a visa for tourism for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. Slovakia uses the shared Schengen quota, meaning qualifying presence elsewhere in the area counts against the same limit and arrival in Slovakia does not start a fresh 90 days. The passport must have been issued less than ten years before arrival and remain valid for at least three months after the planned Schengen departure. Border control may request proof of purpose, accommodation, onward travel and sufficient resources. EES biometric registration is only a border record and must not be classified as an eVisa; work, residence and longer stays require the appropriate Slovak permission.
