Ordinary Passport
Selected passportStay: Online visa application and barcode authorisation required before travel; the issued visa determines the authorised stay
Conditions: A full British citizen ordinary-passport holder must apply online for a Ugandan visa before travel and attach the required documents and certificates. Immigration emails a barcode-bearing authorisation letter, which must be printed and presented on arrival; border officials then issue the visa, so this is advance electronic authorisation rather than an unconditional walk-up visa on arrival. The passport must expire at least six months after arrival and the traveller must hold a yellow-fever vaccination certificate. The general official guidance does not state one universal stay ceiling for every issued tourism permission, so the visa actually issued controls the authorised duration and no numeric maximum is inferred here.
