Conditions: A full British citizen ordinary-passport holder must obtain a federal Iraqi e-visa through the Government of Iraq portal at least 24 hours before travel; ordinary visit visas are no longer issued on arrival for federal Iraq. The published 60 days describes the federal visa's validity and is not encoded here as a guaranteed admission period without a separate official stay measure. A return or onward ticket is required and the passport must expire at least six months after arrival with one blank page. The Kurdistan Region of Iraq operates a separate system: an eligible traveller may obtain its e-visa online or on arrival for a 30-day stay, but that permission is valid only within the KRI and must not be represented as authorisation for federal Iraq. FCDO advises against all or all but essential travel across Iraq.
