Conditions: A full British citizen ordinary-passport holder must have a Sierra Leone visa but may obtain it directly on arrival for 80 US dollars paid in cash, without mandatory electronic pre-authorisation. Applying online for an e-visa before travel is an alternative route rather than a prerequisite for the arrival facility. A single-entry visa is valid for use for 90 days from issue and a multiple-entry visa for 365 days, but those are product-validity periods: each visit is limited to a maximum stay of 30 days. The passport must expire at least six months after the visa application. A yellow-fever vaccination certificate is required, and every arriving or departing traveller must separately complete the health declaration within 72 hours before travel and retain its QR code or reference number. The health declaration and airport security fee are not visas and do not extend the authorised stay.
