Ordinary Passport
Selected passportStay: Visa-free Finland and Schengen tourism up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the whole area
Conditions: A full British citizen ordinary-passport holder may visit Finland without a visa for tourism for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. This is the shared Schengen allowance, so qualifying days already spent in another participating country reduce the time available in Finland and crossing into Finland does not restart the count. The passport must have been issued less than ten years before arrival and expire at least three months after the planned departure from the Schengen area. Border control may request proof of accommodation, onward travel and sufficient funds. The Entry/Exit System is a biometric border record rather than an eVisa, while work, residence and stays beyond the short-stay allowance require the appropriate Finnish permission.
