Conditions: A United Kingdom ordinary-passport holder may obtain a free single-entry visitor visa on arrival in Rwanda for a stay of up to 30 days because the United Kingdom is a Commonwealth member. No prior application is required, although an online application remains available. The travel document must be genuine and valid for at least six months on arrival, work is not permitted under the visitor permission, and an extension is available only in exceptional circumstances through a separate application. Travellers arriving from a yellow-fever-risk country must carry the required vaccination certificate, and final admission remains subject to Rwandan immigration control.
