Stay: Tourist visa on arrival: 30 days; IMUGA Traveller Declaration required before arrival
Conditions: A full British citizen passport holder travelling as a tourist receives a 30-day visa on arrival in the Maldives and does not require pre-approval. The passport must have a machine-readable zone and at least one month of validity, and the traveller must present confirmed return or onward travel, prepaid registered accommodation or an approved sponsor and sufficient funds. The free IMUGA Traveller Declaration must be submitted within 96 hours before arrival. The itinerary does not guarantee entry; immigration officers determine admissibility at the port of entry.
