Stay: Approved eVisitor required before travel: valid for multiple journeys over 12 months, with up to 3 months per entry
Conditions: A British citizen holding a valid United Kingdom passport is eligible to apply online for Australia's free eVisitor visa (subclass 651) before travel. The eVisitor is valid for travel for 12 months from grant and permits multiple entries, but each individual stay is limited to 3 months. The 12-month visa-validity period must not be treated as a 12-month continuous stay. The permission is digitally linked to the passport, does not authorise ordinary paid work, and a new application or different visa is required when the traveller needs a longer visit or no longer holds the linked passport.
