Selected passportStay: Visa-free tourism: initial stay up to 30 days; a longer visit requires a separate immigration extension
Conditions: A full British citizen passport holder may visit the Dominican Republic for tourism without a visa for an initial stay of up to 30 days. The mandatory electronic entry and exit form must be completed, and the resulting QR code may be requested at check-in or border control. Officials may also require proof of onward or return travel and will take fingerprints and a photograph on arrival. An extension up to 120 days may be purchased through the Dominican immigration service, but that is a separate in-country procedure and does not enlarge the initial 30-day visa-free allowance. Work, study and other purposes follow different entry requirements.
