Selected passportStay: Visa-free tourism for up to 90 days; K-ETA temporarily exempt through 31 December 2026
Conditions: A full British citizen passport holder may enter the Republic of Korea without a visa for tourism for up to 90 days and must hold an onward or return ticket. Employment is prohibited under the visitor exemption. Although visa-exempt travellers are normally required to obtain K-ETA approval before departure, British nationals are temporarily exempt from the K-ETA requirement through 31 December 2026. Travellers should recheck the electronic-authorisation rule for journeys after that date and submit Korea's arrival declaration as required; final admission remains an immigration decision.
