Conditions: A full British citizen passport holder may visit North Macedonia without a visa for up to three months. The passport must expire at least 90 days after arrival, and visitors must register with the local police in the town or city where they are staying within 48 hours; accommodation providers may perform that registration. The exemption is specific to a full British citizen passport and does not cover a United Kingdom refugee travel document, whose holder needs a visa even when transiting toward Kosovo. A longer stay, work, study or residence requires the appropriate permission, and border authorities retain the final admission decision.
