Conditions: A full British citizen passport holder may visit Georgia without a visa for a continuous period of up to one year. The passport should remain valid throughout the visit, and every visitor must hold health and accident insurance covering the whole stay with at least the minimum Georgian-lari coverage specified by Georgia; the policy may be checked by the carrier or immigration authority. The long visitor exemption does not itself authorise employment: Georgia changed its foreign-work rules on 1 March 2026, and paid or remote work may require a work permit plus the appropriate visa or residence status. A longer stay also requires separate immigration permission.
