Conditions: United States citizens travelling on an ordinary tourist passport do not require a Chilean visa for a visit of 90 days or less. Chile issues a transitory-stay Tourist Card for up to 90 days at entry; it may be extended once for a further 90 days through Chilean immigration, subject to the applicable fee and approval. Diplomatic and official United States passports require a visa before travel.
