Stay: Visa-free Finland and Schengen tourism up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the whole area

Conditions: A United States ordinary-passport holder does not require a tourist visa for a visit to Finland of 90 days or less. Finland applies the common Schengen limit of up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period, so time spent in other participating countries reduces the remaining Finnish allowance and the count does not restart at Finland's border. The passport must satisfy Schengen validity rules and the traveller may be required to show sufficient funds and return travel. Visa-free admission does not authorise work or residence, and Finnish border authorities retain the final decision.
