Conditions: Republic of Korea ordinary-passport holders must obtain a Turkmenistan tourist visa. The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Seoul states that foreign tourists apply on the basis of a personal application or a written application from an authorised Turkmen tourist organisation, and its visa checklist requires a certified Letter of Invitation. Tourist agencies assist with obtaining the invitation through the State Migration Service before the embassy issues the visa. Because the official Seoul guidance does not publish one universal authorised stay for every tourist visa, no numeric stay limit is asserted; the issued visa controls validity, entries and stay.
