Conditions: Republic of Korea ordinary-passport holders must obtain Sri Lanka's Electronic Travel Authorization before arrival. From 25 May 2026, South Korea is among the countries whose nationals receive the tourist ETA free of charge. The tourist ETA authorises a 30-day stay with double entry; a second entry is allowed only within the original 30-day period and grants the unused balance rather than a fresh 30 days. Travellers need a passport valid for at least 6 months, a confirmed return ticket and sufficient funds, and may apply separately for an extension after arrival.
