Conditions: A Republic of Korea ordinary-passport holder is exempt from the short-stay visa requirement for tourism in Portugal under the European Union's South Korea exemption. The current common short-stay ceiling is 90 days in any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen area, so days spent in other participating states reduce the remaining Portuguese allowance. Portugal's older bilateral visa-waiver agreement records a 60-day national exemption, but it is not encoded here as an automatic additional stay beyond the current common ceiling. Work, residence and longer stays require the appropriate permission, and admission remains a border decision.
