Ordinary Passport
Selected passportStay: Visa-free Schengen tourism for up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the whole area
Conditions: Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists South Korea among the nationalities exempt from the short-stay visa requirement for tourism. A Republic of Korea ordinary-passport holder may therefore visit for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. That ceiling applies across the entire Schengen area rather than separately in Italy, so earlier stays in other participating countries consume the same allowance. The exemption does not cover employment, residence or a longer stay. Travellers must still meet passport, purpose, accommodation, financial-means and onward-travel requirements, and Italian border authorities decide admission.
