Selected passportStay: Schengen Type C visa required before travel: up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period across the Schengen area
Conditions: A People's Republic of China ordinary-passport holder must obtain a Schengen Type C visa before short tourism travel to Switzerland. Applications in mainland China are submitted through the Swiss representation's designated visa centres for the applicant's consular district, and Switzerland must be the principal destination when it processes the application. The visa may permit travel across the Schengen area unless restricted, but the cumulative short-stay allowance cannot exceed 90 days in any rolling 180-day period across all Schengen states. The actual entries, validity dates and shorter authorised duration printed on the visa must be followed.
