Stay: ETA-required visitor journey: up to 6 months on each visit; ETA valid for 2 years or passport expiry

Conditions: Japanese passport holders must obtain a United Kingdom Electronic Travel Authorisation before travelling as a visitor unless another exemption applies. An ETA permits multiple journeys and is valid for 2 years or until the passport used in the application expires, whichever is sooner. Each tourism visit may be for up to 6 months; the ETA permits travel but does not itself guarantee entry.
