Ordinary Passport
Selected passportStay: Visa-free European-Netherlands and Schengen tourism up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the whole area
Conditions: A Canadian ordinary-passport holder does not need a visa for a tourist visit to the European Netherlands. The permitted short stay is no more than 90 days in any rolling 180-day period across the whole Schengen area, so time already spent in another participating country reduces the days available in the Netherlands and crossing an internal border does not restart the allowance. The passport must satisfy the Schengen issue-date and post-departure validity rules, and border control may request evidence of purpose, accommodation, sufficient funds and onward travel. This rule does not cover the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, employment, residence or another long-stay purpose.
