Conditions: Canadian ordinary-passport holders do not require a tourist visa for a visit to Jamaica of up to 90 days. Jamaican immigration officers generally grant visitor landed status for 90 days and determine the actual permission at entry, so the published period is an initial ceiling rather than guaranteed admission. The passport must remain valid for the expected duration of the stay. Travellers may be asked for a return or onward ticket and proof of sufficient funds, and must provide the required immigration information online or on the C5 landing card. A longer stay requires a separate extension requested before the authorised landing period expires; visa exemption does not authorise employment.
