Ordinary Passport
Selected passportStay: Visa-free Schengen tourism up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the whole area
Conditions: A United States ordinary-passport holder may visit Belgium without a visa for a short tourism stay of up to 90 days in any 180-day period. The allowance is shared across the Schengen area, so prior stays in other participating countries reduce the time available in Belgium. The passport must satisfy Schengen validity rules and the traveller may need to show the visit purpose, accommodation, sufficient resources and onward or return arrangements. The exemption does not permit employment, study beyond the short-stay rules or residence, and Belgian border authorities retain final admission discretion.
