Ordinary Passport
Selected passportStay: Schengen visa required before travel; up to 90 days in any 180-day period, subject to the issued visa
Conditions: A mainland People's Republic of China ordinary-passport holder must obtain a short-stay Schengen visa before travelling to the Netherlands for tourism. Applications made in China follow the Netherlands Worldwide and VFS process. The common ceiling is 90 days in any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen area, so time spent in every other participating state reduces the remaining Dutch allowance. The visa sticker may authorise fewer days than that ceiling and does not guarantee admission; border authorities make the final decision. Work, residence and stays longer than 90 days require the appropriate Dutch permission.
