Stay: Visa-free tourism: up to 90 days in each 180-day period, without extension for Swiss citizens

Conditions: Swiss ordinary-passport holders are exempt from Brazil's Visitor Visa requirement for tourism and may stay for up to 90 days in each 180-day period. Brazil's Switzerland-specific consular guidance states that this short-stay allowance cannot be extended, so it must not be treated like the extendable regime applying to some other visa-exempt nationalities. The passport must satisfy Brazil's entry requirements, tourism does not authorise paid work, and final admission remains subject to federal immigration control.
