The current policy for Switzerland is announced through 31 December 2026, so travellers should reconfirm it before departure; a visa remains necessary for a longer stay or for activities outside the listed tourism, business, family-visit, exchange and transit purposes. The 30-day count begins on the day after entry, there is currently no published cap on the number of qualifying entries, and the exemption does not guarantee border admission.
