How Bilig works on Android
Last updated: August 3, 2026
The Android app follows the same central route, entry-context, trip-planning, and public-trip contracts as the web and iOS experiences.
Access and accounts
Account features use Android Credential Manager with Google sign-in and Bilig's account service. Session secrets are stored with Android's protected credential and Keystore-supported mechanisms.
Location and recommendations
Android location access is used only after permission is granted. It can suggest the nearest supported departure or a trip place, and manual selection remains available.
Data used on this platform
Profile and trip data are used to personalize route and document context. Media location extraction is limited to photos you select through the Android picker and is not added to a trip until you confirm it.
Public trips and sharing
Publishing, republishing, and unpublishing use the same privacy-safe public snapshot contract. Public links are shared through the Android share interface.
Platform services
Android may use platform mapping, media, identity, and sharing services. Distribution-specific rules also apply when the app is made available through Google Play.
Important travel-information limit
Route availability, durations, passport access, visa labels, border crossings, tolls, and entry rules are planning context, not legal, immigration, booking, airline, or border-control advice.
Verify current requirements with official authorities and carriers before booking or travel. See the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Privacy Choices for the complete service terms and controls.
