How Bilig works on the web
Last updated: August 3, 2026
The web experience provides destination discovery, passport-aware route context, city guides, trip planning, and public trip pages through bilig.app.
Access and accounts
Public destination and guide pages can be used without an account. Account-backed actions, including publishing or removing a public trip, require an authenticated Bilig session.
Location and recommendations
Bilig may use Cloudflare's approximate request region to choose a useful departure area. Precise browser location is requested only after you choose a location feature. You can always replace the suggestion manually.
Data used on this platform
Document preferences and draft planning state may be stored in your browser. When an action clearly uses account sync or public publishing, the required data is sent to Bilig's account service under the Privacy Policy.
Public trips and sharing
A trip becomes public only after an explicit publish action. Public trip snapshots exclude private notes, booking details, document profiles, precise accommodation or base locations, and private photo identifiers.
Platform services
Web maps may use Apple MapKit JS. Network delivery and protection use Cloudflare, while Bilig's central content and account services run on Bilig-controlled infrastructure.
Important travel-information limit
Route availability, durations, passport access, visa labels, border crossings, tolls, and entry rules are planning context, not legal, immigration, booking, airline, or border-control advice.
Verify current requirements with official authorities and carriers before booking or travel. See the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Privacy Choices for the complete service terms and controls.
